A 39-year-old man’s ride on a summer toboggan run in the Allgäu ended in hospital because of a runaway cow. The man collided with the animal on a curve at the facility in Immenstadt, the police said on Thursday. He was injured on Wednesday and a broken collarbone is suspected. According to a police spokeswoman, it initially remained unclear how the cow was able to get from the adjacent pasture to the summer toboggan run. The pasture fences were all checked by the operator. The investigators are now checking whether there was negligent bodily harm.
