Two Netflix stars die in car crash

A fatal car accident while shooting the Netflix series “The Chosen One” has raised criticism of the production conditions.
After two actors from the Netflix series “The Chosen One” died in a car accident in Mexico and six other crew members were injured, allegations against the production are increasing. As reported by The Daily Beast, relatives of the victims allege that there were complaints about local transport conditions before the accident. However, these were apparently not taken seriously by either Netflix or the production company Redrum.
According to media reports, the accident during the shooting of “The Chosen One” happened last Thursday (June 16). The two actors Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar lost their lives when the vehicle overturned for reasons that are still unclear. The Mexican news site “Frontera” published a photo of the two on Instagram.
What will become of the series?
How the series will continue is currently unclear. Filming has been suspended for the time being, and an investigation into how the accident happened is underway. Only when this is completed will you be informed about the further procedure.
The Chosen One is based on the comics “American Jesus” by Mark Millar and Peter Gross. As in the original, the series is about a boy who discovers that he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ and is tasked with saving mankind. “The Chosen One” has nothing to do with the Portuguese series of the same name, also available in Germany via Netflix under the title “The Chosen One”.
