A first phew of relief … All the players in the Spanish football selection tested negative for Covid-19 on Monday, after their captain Sergio Busquets tested positive the day before, announced the Spanish Federation (RFEF). “All the players, the staff and the entire delegation of the national team have tested negative during the PCR tests carried out on Monday”, explained the RFEF in a press release.
The federation adds that “the medical services of the RFEF will continue to carry out preventive tests on all the players summoned for the Euro”, in the coming days.
A “spread” training for selection
La Roja is due to start her European adventure on Monday, June 14 against Sweden in Seville, for her entry into Group E of the competition where she will also meet Poland and Slovakia.
