Great sadness in the RTL2 family!
The former “Berlin – Day & Night” actor Alfio De Benedicitis (also known as Fernando Dela Vega) is dead. This became known on Tuesday: several of his former colleagues expressed their sadness on Instagram.
Lutz Schweigel (51) said goodbye with a compilation of photos together and wrote “Rest in peace!”
Pia Tillmann (35, last seen in “Sommerhaus der Stars”) posted several photos and wrote: “I am shocked and sad, but it was still a matter of time that this information came. Even if your heart was big, things didn’t always work smoothly in our early days at BTN.”
She continued: “Thank you for unforgettable moments and years. For incredible fun, good times and shared tears. I hope you’re doing well wherever you are now! Rest in peace!”
The “Berlin – Day & Night” team wrote: “It was with great horror that we learned of the death of our long-time companion Alfio De Benedicitis. Alfio played the role of Fabrizio in “Berlin – Day & Night” for many years and will be remembered above all for his good mood and warm manner. Our thoughts are with his relatives. Alfio, we will never forget you!”
An RTL2 spokesman for BILD: “It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of our long-time companion Alfio De Benedictis. Our thoughts are with his relatives in these difficult hours.”
