Alexia Laroche-Joubert will be able to update her already well-stocked CV. The producer will become, from September 3, the CEO of Banijay France, after seven years at the head of its subsidiary ALP, at the origin of Koh-Lanta and Fort Boyard, the audiovisual giant announced on Tuesday. .

This media figure thus succeeds François de Brugada at the head “of the French portfolio of the group, comprising 15 flow subsidiaries (entertainment programs) and fiction”, explained Banijay, world number one in the independent production of audiovisual programs. Her “mission will be to develop and diversify the portfolio of companies, initiate partnerships with talent, identify new sources of growth and promote collaboration with the entire group” headed by Marco Bassetti.

At Banijay since 2016, Alexia Laroche-Joubert “was until now president of Adventure Line Productions (ALP), the company Miss France and Screen Line Productions”, recalled the group. Before that, the one who installed many brands such as Loft Story, Star Academy, Secret Story, Les Ch’tis, Les Marseillais and Popstars went through Canal +, TF1 or even Endemol France.

With some 130 production companies, the French group Banijay is a global television giant, a subsidiary of the FL Entertainment group listed in Amsterdam and controlled by producer Stéphane Courbit.
