chefkoch.de comes on TV. From the end of February, Alexander Herrmann will moderate “Chefkoch TV – Tasty doesn’t have to be expensive” on RTL.

With over 22 million users chefkoch.de the largest web portal for cooking and baking in Europe. Now the German platform is also coming to television. Star chef Alexander Herrmann (50) will be moderating “Chefkoch TV – Tasty doesn’t have to be expensive” on RTL from February 28th.

“Chefkoch TV” will run daily at lunchtime on the Cologne station, Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. In the show, four ambitious hobby chefs compete against each other. Alexander Herrmann is at your side as a consultant. The jury consists of Herrmann’s cooking colleagues Sarah Henke (39) and Tarik Rose (51).

“Chefkoch TV”: What is the difference to the “Kitchen Battle”?

The concept of “Chefkoch TV” sounds suspiciously like the competing cooking show “Die Küchenschlacht”. Hobby chefs also compete in it on weekdays on ZDF. But what should be different with the new RTL format is the budget of the candidates.

Participants have a small budget available every day, ranging from 2.99 euros to 9.99 euros. After all, the subtitle of the show is “Tasty doesn’t have to be expensive”. In return, the candidate who beats his three competitors can win 1,500 euros.
