The dead Halyna Hutchins’ family could sue for damages if it is proven that they were negligent. “Against the production company, against the gun master, against the assistant director who handed the weapon over to Alec Baldwin, as well as all other persons – including Baldwin as the producer, if they can be shown to have committed a substantial breach of duty that led to the accident,” explains US attorney Elson D. Nowell the “Bild” newspaper.
It is the second time that Baldwin has spoken out after the accident – albeit indirectly.
