Prince Albert II and his wife Charlène distributed gifts to older people in a good mood. The couple also posed arm in arm.

Ten days before Christmas, the Monegasque royal couple distributed gifts to senior citizens. Prince Albert II (65) and Charlène of Monaco (45) visited the Red Cross headquarters in Monaco together on Thursday.

The royal couple arm in arm

The princess had wrapped herself in a black, double-breasted coat to suit the cold weather, while her husband wore a blue suit for the Christmas charity event. Upon arrival, Charlène received a small gift herself, a bouquet of flowers. The royal couple then distributed gift bags to older residents and chatted animatedly with the seniors. On his Instagram page The palace published several pictures from the afternoon, showing the royal couple arm in arm among the beneficiaries. The Prince’s Palace announced that “gourmet packages” had been distributed.

Waiting for the Christmas card

Meanwhile, the subjects are eagerly awaiting this year’s Christmas card from the royal family. Unlike in the UK, this has not yet been published. However, a fan account on Instagram has already published the alleged photo that is supposed to adorn the obligatory greetings for the festival. In the slightly blurred picture, the prince and princess pose elegantly in front of a Christmas tree with their nine-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella. Charlène is wearing a velvet dress with a cowl neckline and Albert is wearing a tuxedo. Whether this will actually become the official greeting card remains to be seen.
