Ain, Rhône, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie still on orange alert

The Center-East of France will still be very hot this Tuesday. Five departments are indeed still placed in heat wave orange vigilance, according to Météo-France, which has lifted storm orange vigilance in the South-West.

The departments in orange vigilance are Ain, Rhône, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The maximum can reach up to 34-36 ° C and a new, more intense heat wave is expected from Friday in the South-East.

Thunderstorms expected overnight in the Southwest

Elsewhere, the weather will remain very cloudy and heavy from the north of Aquitaine to Auvergne to the Grand-Est, with fairly frequent rainy and stormy periods. A lull will emerge in the afternoon over the South-West but a new stormy salvo will arrive in the night. From the south of Aquitaine to the south of Occitanie, the sky will also be cloudy but will give at most a few drops.

On the other hand, from Brittany to Pays-de-la-Loire to Hauts-de-France and the Ardennes, the weather will become drier again with beautiful clearings. From PACA to the Rhône-Alpes region and in the Jura, sun and heat will persist, with however some isolated showers in the afternoon on the border Alps.

Minimum temperatures will be between 12 and 16 degrees in the North-West, from 16 to 20 everywhere else and up to 21-22 in Rhône-Alpes, Roussillon and Corsica. The maximum will oscillate between 20 and 25 degrees from Brittany to Nord-Pas-de-Calais, between 25 and 30 everywhere else, up to 34-36 in the Rhône Valley and PACA.
