The offensive forces of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were not there for the first games of the year in March. The DFB selection in Bremen’s Weser Stadium is led by Joshua Kimmich as captain. His Munich teammate Leon Goretzka also plays in midfield. As announced by national coach Hansi Flick in advance, local hero Niclas Füllkrug acts as a center forward.
Flick forms the back three in defense, which he wants to try out at the end of the season in the three European Championship tests against Ukraine, Poland and Colombia, with Antonio Rüdiger, Matthias Ginter and Nico Schlotterbeck.
