Against drug trafficking, ten “clearance” operations per week

Will the “net square” operations be carried out “at the Kärcher”, in a nod to the Sarkozy method? During his press conference this Tuesday, Emmanuel Macron expressed concern about the development of drug trafficking, including in medium-sized cities. He then announced that he now wanted ten “clearance” operations per week against drug trafficking, “in all categories of city”, in a desire to restore “order”.

These words from the President of the Republic echo the events which took place in Nîmes, with the death of little Faye, 10 years old, a collateral victim of clashes against a backdrop of trafficking. Cities like Carpentras, 30,000 inhabitants, are also experiencing problems linked to drug trafficking. So much news which has recently contributed to exposing the reality of drug trafficking and its violence, which is developing beyond the big cities.
