Girls Aloud want to perform together again. The singers want to collect donations on behalf of the late Sarah Harding.

The band Girls Aloud apparently wants to be on stage together again. Nadine Coyle (36) now revealed that the remaining musicians in the group were planning a fundraiser – in memory of band member Sarah Harding. The singer died in September 2021 at the age of 39 due to cancer.

Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole (38), Kimberley Walsh (40) and Nicola Roberts (36) now apparently want to join forces for a one-off appearance to raise money for medical devices that help diagnose cancer earlier. According to the Mirror, Coyle told OK!: “We are planning an evening with an event to raise money in honor of Sarah.” The members of Girls Aloud therefore constantly think of their deceased colleague. “We definitely want to do something to help others,” Coyle continued.

Sarah Harding’s death was ‘so devastating’

The singer went on to say that Sarah’s death was “so devastating” and that the others in the band are still “so touching to think about everything she’s been through.” Regarding the planned event, however, she explained that it would be difficult for all of them to rehearse and find a suitable date.

The British band would reunite with the performance 20 years after the group’s formation. Girls Aloud emerged from the talent show “Popstars: The Rivals” in 2002. In their home country, the group had 20 consecutive top 10 hits before disbanding in 2013 after a final UK tour. The band members then started solo careers: Kimberley Walsh is also known as a TV presenter and actress, Cheryl Cole continued her career as a singer and is considered a style icon. Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts also continue to work in the music and television industries.
