After six hours of siege, the man who had entrenched in a business in Molay-Littry (Calvados) this Friday morning died, after injuring a man, announced the prefect of Calvados on September 2.

Around 8 a.m., a father injured a man with a gun near the Maison de la Presse before taking refuge in a real estate agency. The gendarmes of the department quickly arrived on the spot, relayed around 10:30 am by the local branch of the GIGN in Caen, then by the central branch in Versailles.
