The Berlin public prosecutor’s office has initiated investigations against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann. The prosecution authorities confirmed this to BRISANT on Wednesday evening (06/14).
Accordingly, the preliminary investigation against Till Lindemann because of “accusations in the field of sexual offenses and the sale of narcotics” was initiated. In addition, there are investigations based on several criminal complaints by third parties, i.e. “persons not involved in any crime”, as well as “ex officio”.
Further information on the ongoing investigations could not be given at this time.
In recent weeks, several women have accused Till Lindemann of abuse of power and sexual assault. It remains to be seen whether and which of the allegations are justiciable. The Rammstein frontman has denied the allegations against him. It remains the case that the presumption of innocence applies to him.
