In the early hours of Sunday morning, following an event in Oberneuching, a young man was knocked unconscious and kicked. Now the Kripo Erding is investigating because of attempted killing. As reported by the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North, two men had gotten into an argument. A 27-year-old party guest, who had observed the argument and wanted to mediate, was punched to the ground by one of the two opponents. The suspect then kicked his victim, who was lying on the ground, in the head. A security service employee who noticed the incident intervened and was able to prevent worse, according to the police report.
The 27-year-old, who was unconscious for several minutes, had to be treated by the emergency services and then taken to a hospital. The escaped 24-year-old suspect was temporarily arrested a little later by a patrol crew from the Erding police station and, at the request of the Landshut public prosecutor’s office, was brought before the responsible magistrate on the same day on suspicion of attempted homicide. Pre-trial detention was ordered against him. The investigations of the Erding criminal police are ongoing.
