After his conviction, the former minister Alain Griset tried, this time, for “breach of trust”

New legal setbacks in sight. The former Minister for SMEs, Alain Griset, is to be tried on Tuesday before the Lille Criminal Court for “breach of trust”. About a month ago, he was sentenced by the Paris Criminal Court for “incomplete or false declaration” of his patrimonial situation.

Alain Griset will have to answer for “breach of trust” at the expense of the National Confederation of Crafts, Trades and Services, according to a judicial source. This is one of the aspects of the case which earned him his conviction, on December 8, to six months suspended imprisonment and a suspended three-year ineligibility sentence. He resigned from the government in the process.
