However, he did not wish to say more about the elected officials in question, nor about their precise number.
Marine Le Pen, a “variant of the system”
To justify these defections to Éric Zemmour, Jérôme Rivière notably attacked Marine Le Pen. “We used to think that Marine Le Pen was in a position to present a particularly interesting project. She presented a solid, constructed program, but I note with surprise and regret that she is moving, that she is changing”, he regretted, citing in particular opinions concerning the Schengen area or dual nationality.
“It is this malaise that led me to leave the RN. I wonder if, so much she thinks about the second round, she does not become a variant of the system, the ultimate variant of the system. Éric Zemmour, is he in ability to keep all the promises he has made”, assures the MEP.
Also asked about the polls, which have been difficult for the leader of the Reconquest party in recent days, Jérôme Rivière assured that he was not worried. It remains to be seen whether these recent recruitments will make it possible to gain a few points in the opinion polls in the weeks to come.
