Sublime Primoz Roglic. Despite a chain jump that seemed to validate his reputation as a fisherman, the Slovenian won the mountainous time trial between Tarvisio and Monte Lussari, this Saturday, during the 19th and penultimate stage of the Tour of Italy. He takes the lead in the Giro which he will win on Sunday, on the occasion of the arrival in Rome.
The leader of the Jumbo Visma finishes 40 seconds ahead of Geraint Thomas, and steals the pink jersey from the Welshman of Ineos, for 14 small seconds. Thibaut Pinot, 5th in qualifying, also climbed to 5th place.
