After denouncing “influvoleurs”, Booba launches a “responsible” influencer agency

For more than a year, Booba has been fighting against “influvoleurs”, influencers accused of dubious promotions, even scams. As if to set an example, the famous rapper from 92 announced this Thursday the creation of his own talent agency, which he hopes is more “virtuous”.

Named “Starting Blok” or “SBK” shortened version, the agency must represent “urban talents”, from “stand-up, urban sports, graffiti, fashion, cinema” “all gathered around a Code of ethics “. The goal: “to promote, support” and “develop the careers of talents by building their image and optimizing their projects”. The agency will also manage partnerships between influencers and brands, on “responsible and creative influence operations”, assure its founders.

An ethical charter

In their press release, the founders of the agency announced that they had created their own ethical charter “to which talents and partners adhere”. The company has not yet announced the names of the first influencers it will represent.

Since the summer of 2022, Booba has been waging a relentless digital war against the excesses of influencers with the main target being Magali Berdah, founder of the influencer agency Shauna Events. An investigation was opened against Shauna Events at the end of 2022 for “deceptive commercial practices”. For her part, the business manager denounces the cyberharassment of which she claims to be a victim. The latter was also indicted for “harassment” at the beginning of October.
