What happened Thursday evening in the district of Ponts-Jumeaux, in Toulouse during the night. A dispute seems to be at the origin of an intra-family drama which led to the death of a 54-year-old man, indicates the Toulouse prosecutor’s office, confirming information from The Dispatch.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it was his 19-year-old daughter-in-law who was responsible for the fatal stabbings.
When they arrived, paramedics found the victim’s lifeless body. Firefighters from the departmental fire and rescue service of Haute-Garonne and the SMUR tried to save him, in vain.
The 19-year-old woman, suspected of being the author of the stab wounds, was on the spot and was arrested by the national police. She would have carried about fifteen blows according to the first findings of the medical examiner who moved. An autopsy is to take place in the afternoon.
An investigation for intentional homicide was opened by the Toulouse prosecutor’s office, which specifies that the neighbors would have heard cries, in particular about a story of cigarettes. The young girl, who is said to be suffering from psychological problems, was taken into custody.
