This year there will finally be another folk festival in Poing. The festival committee of the municipality has now announced this, so the celebrations are to take place from July 8th to 17th at the Volksfestplatz at Hanselbrunn. Poing’s First Mayor Thomas Stark and Poing’s Second Mayor Reinhard Tonollo have agreed to continue the folk festival as it ended before the pandemic. As in 2019, there will be a beer tasting in the brewhouse of the Schweiger brewery in Markt Schwaben and a procession at the beginning of the actual celebrations. The showmen are also there again. The organizers are currently working on an attractive amusement park in front of the marquee.
