Jeremy Renner is back after his terrible accident – and can imagine slipping back into his role as a Marvel superhero.

Jeremy Renner (53) can imagine slipping back into his role as the superhero Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. About a year after his near-fatal snowplow accident on January 1, 2023 He told “Entertainment Tonight” about a possible return to the “Avengers” franchise: “I’m always ready. I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready.”

The actor, who broke more than 30 bones after being run over by a snowplow outside his home in Reno, Nevada, also shared how supportive his MCU costars have been. “All these people came to my bedside and were with me throughout my recovery, so… if they want me, they can have me,” Renner said. “That would be something.”

“Recovery will be part of the rest of my life”

Jeremy Renner also gave an update on his health and recovery in the interview. He said he would do “everything I can, whatever it takes to get better, to get stronger.” Recovery is “a one-way street.” The rest of his life is “about health and well-being. Recovery will be part of the rest of my life.” He further explained, “There’s always something to do to get better, to be stronger, to be happier, to be healthier, and that’s what I’m looking forward to.”

The actor added: “It’s hard for me to look back, to be honest. It’s hard for me to look forward. I’m focused on the now and the next step that’s ahead of me, because right now there is always another obstacle for me.” Recently, Jeremy Renner revealed that he has resumed work on the series “Mayor of Kingstown.” Filming for the third season is currently underway.
