Affair at the DFB: The thing with (no) an office – sport

Does the DFB President have his own workplace? Naturally. In 2021, however, a document for the pension insurance stated that Fritz Keller did not have one – he almost signed it. A plot? The association says it was “a typo”.

How does it work when the top representative of the German Football Association visits the association’s headquarters? If you believe a document that circulated in the DFB two years ago, something like this: The president – at that time his name was Fritz Keller – inquired whether a meeting room or a corner in the intern’s room was free. If he’s lucky, he can settle down in one of the many offices. Otherwise: bad luck. Because for the DFB president, according to the document, “no job is reserved” at the Frankfurt headquarters.
