ADAC President Christian Reinicke: “I’m not a car freak” – economy

from

The worn brown leather bag was a confirmation present from his grandmother. Since then she has accompanied Christian Reinicke, 56, through school, studies, professional life and honorary positions. This morning, too, he has it with him when he gets on the ICE 882 at Munich Central Station at a quarter to eight. Reinicke puts her on the seat next to her. The day before, the ADAC President had come specially to honor long-term employees of Europe’s largest automobile club that evening. But the honor, including dinner, fell victim to the exploding corona numbers at short notice. So Reinicke worked his way through files instead, and now he’s going home again, to Hanover. By train.
