Ada Hegerberg denounces the insults she receives on social networks because her character on EA Sports FC 24 has a bug

The cyberharassment of which professional athletes are scandalously victims, episode 756. After the tennis players insulted by Internet users disappointed at having lost money on online betting sites in matches concerning them, the arrival of new video game “Fifa”, entitled EA Sports FC 24, highlights another unexpected scourge.

Last week, Olympique Lyonnais star striker Ada Hegerberg had ironically thanked on X the famous video game (the official release of which is scheduled for Friday) for having integrated it. And this because she was quickly informed that her character was “the only one to have a bug”, and therefore to be uncontrollable, as an Internet user explains below in the video.

“This is going a little too far, isn’t it EA Sports? »

Given that early access to EA Sports FC 24 has been permitted since last Friday, users have found nothing better than to violently attack the Norwegian international on social networks. The 2018 Ballon d’Or shared on Monday in an Instagram story one of the insulting voice messages (in French) that she had received over the past few days. “That’s going a little too far, isn’t it? », Comments the 28-year-old player, calling out to EA Sports.

EA Sports is following suit reacted by indicating “investigate” this bug, and by specifying that the character of “Aga” Hegerberg (and therefore not Ada) was automatically removed from the teams as long as it appeared to be suffering from a bug. Let us hope that a more substantial investigation into the cyberharassment of which the Lyonnaise is a victim is underway at the same time.
