Frankfurt – The “crime scene” is back in Frankfurt. On Sunday (September 10th) ARD will broadcast the new case “Erbarmen. Too Late” at 8:15 p.m. After the long summer break, a “police call 110” and the case from Ludwigshafen last week, the Sunday thriller is back with a first broadcast from the region. The title of the new case already gives it away: The Hessians are coming.

The new “crime scene” from Frankfurt appears dark: two cars drive along a field path at night on the edge of a forest area. In it: Brix (Wolfram Koch) and other police officers. There is also a suspect, Anton Schilling (Niels Bormann), who had recently come to the police and reported that police officer Simon Laby (Sebastian Klein) was shot and then buried at the edge of the forest. The search is difficult. Schilling can no longer remember exactly where the spot is. It’s dark, he’s been drinking. He also seems to be afraid. When you finally search Laby’s forest house and discover large amounts of food, weapons, ammunition and a fake police car, the case takes on a whole new dimension. An old acquaintance of Brix seems to be involved in the matter. Brix can’t or doesn’t want to believe that at first. Janneke (Margarita Broich) soon suspects that the search that night is not just about a dead person.
