Director Marc Forster is bringing a new film starring Tom Hanks to theaters. And is enthusiastic about the presence of the Hollywood star.
US actor Tom Hanks (66) is “like a Buddha” on the film set. The actor is very meditative, said the German-Swiss director Marc Forster of the tabloid Blick.
“He comes in the morning and never goes away. Other stars disappear into their trailer, he stays put. When we say we’re ready now, he’s already there and everything is perfect.” Hanks (“Forrest Gump”, “Sully”) is the best actor he has ever shot with. The director, who was born in Ulm and grew up in Switzerland, has had many stars in his productions, such as Brad Pitt in “World War Z” 2013 or Daniel Craig in the Bond film “Quantum of Solace” 2008. With Hanks he has the film in 2022 Filmed “A Man Called Otto”. It will be in cinemas in Germany in February.
