He is a promising newcomer: Alessandro Schuster plays a leading role in Dominik Graf’s new film.

20-year-old actor Alessandro Schuster wonders about the uproar that a relationship between a young man and an older woman often creates in society.

“I find it rather amazing that this variant always attracts much more attention and irritation than the other way around. Ultimately, it’s about the person you fall in love with, and if there’s attraction from both sides, you can mine In my opinion, put all other parameters behind for the time being,” said Schuster of the German Press Agency in Berlin. “Even in my private environment, it’s not alien to me, and I look at it just as neutrally as other relationship patterns.”

In the new Dominik Graf film “Face of Memory”, which will be shown on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the first, Schuster plays a man in his 20s who falls in love with a woman in her 30s (Verena Altenberger).

The topic of age difference was “specifically related to the film and work” when playing, but that was hardly the focus, said Schuster. “For me it’s not decisive anyway what age, gender and so on the person with whom I’m telling a love story has, it’s about the human connection and that you can work well and trustingly with each other and make sure that both feel good about it. And in that case I was just really happy to play this story with Verena, because we already knew each other before this project, we even shot together six years ago.” In addition, the exchange in cooperation with Dominik Graf was “so protected and trusting”. That made the job even easier.
