Hit by two cars: three-year-old child dead

A three-year-old child walks onto the lane of a country road in the evening – and is hit by two cars. He dies at the scene of the accident.
A three-year-old child is two in southern Hesse Cars hit and fatally injured. As the police announced, she died at the scene of the accident near Lampertheim on Wednesday evening.
According to the report, the child ran onto a country road from the direction of a property. There it was hit by a 59-year-old’s car and the impact caused it to be thrown into the oncoming lane. According to police, a 27-year-old driver’s car hit the child there. It is still unclear how the accident could have happened.
There is accommodation for refugees on the property, a police spokesman said this morning. The child therefore came from the accommodation. The public prosecutor’s office called in an expert to clarify what happened to the accident. According to the statement, the emergency services treated those involved at the scene of the accident. The section of the country road between Lampertheim-Neuschloß and Hüttenfeld was completely closed for three and a half hours.
