Her voice trembles briefly. This point is most important to her, Katharina Kracht takes a deep breath, then continues with emphasis: “Anyone who now says that the study is worthless is doing something that we as those affected have always experienced. He or she ignores our voices. As if Numbers and data are more important than what we experienced.” Shortly before, it had become known that not all regional churches had provided enough files – contrary to the agreement. No, 100 people took part in the qualitative part of the study, says Kracht, who were subjected to sexual violence by pastors, employees and volunteers in the area of the Protestant church and the diakonia.
