Aaron Carter missed last therapy session
Aaron Carter († 34) had for years drug and alcohol problems. After his death, more and more details are coming to light that suggest he still had to fight these demons.
But: Carter was on the mend and had sought help. He was in therapy until the end. Like the celebrity portal “ TMZHowever, reportedly, the singer missed a session – just one day before his death.
Carter would have had a therapy session on Friday night and was found lifeless in his bathtub on Saturday. He had briefly interrupted the therapy in between, but resumed it last week.
It is said to have been online therapy that his fiancé took him to Melanie Martin (30) had signed up, a source told TMZ. It was the fifth time that the younger brother of Nick Carter (42) went into rehab.
Aaron Carter and Martin had an on-off relationship and had a son together, Prince (11 months). Martin had custody.
For Carter, HE was the main reason for therapy: He wanted to be there for his young son. In order to see Prince more often or even regain custody, the one-time teen star took part in therapy.
Carter apparently still had a long way to go before he was free from addiction: police investigators found several after his death compressed air cans as well as prescription pills in Carter’s bathroom and bedroom. Inhaling canned air can induce an instant high, as well as hallucinations and delusions.
The last contact with the singer is said to have taken place on Friday morning at 2 a.m. According to police, Carter had been in the bathtub for some time when his found housekeeper there.
While it’s unlikely, it’s possible that Carter was dead by the time of Friday night’s therapy.
