Because the driver of a truck had apparently lost control of his trailer, the team rolled over on the A99 motorway near Unterföhring on Friday evening. Three people were injured. According to the police, the 48-year-old drove the truck at around 7:15 p.m. in the direction of Stuttgart, with construction machinery loaded on the trailer. The accident then occurred in the third of the four lanes, in which no other vehicle was involved. Both the truck and trailer were lying on their side when the vehicles came to a stop. In the truck were two companions, aged 27 and 45, who suffered abrasions, while the driver sustained a head laceration and was taken to a Munich hospital for further evaluation. The damage to property is estimated at 30,000 euros, since the road was affected in addition to the damaged car and trailer.
