A woman supervising a group of young people from Var dies in Lisbon

This Wednesday, a sexagenarian from Var died on the sidelines of WYD in Lisbon, Portugal, according to a press release from the diocese of Fréjus-Toulon. This Monday, this 62-year-old woman who supervised the JMJ group of Saint-Georges de Toulon was seriously injured when she fell down the stairs of her Portuguese accommodation.

The 60-year-old succumbed to her injuries. A mass was celebrated in tribute on Thursday. “A psychological unit has been made available to young people who may need it, on site, in Lisbon”, specifies the press release.
