A wine merchant is robbed of nearly 20,000 euros worth of bottles

Like tobacconists, wine merchants are a prime target for burglars. The manager of the La vie de châteaux cellar in Quimper had the bitter experience of this during the end-of-year holidays, as reported West France. On the night of December 29 to 30, burglars entered his store through a small window located 5 meters high.

Inside, the thugs made off with around fifty bottles and not the least. Obviously knowledgeable, the burglars stole fine wines, some of which cost more than 1,000 euros per bottle, as well as numerous bottles of spirits. The loot amounts to around 20,000 euros. A sum of 2,000 euros in cash was also stolen from the cash register.

The wine merchant filed a complaint and an investigation was opened. According to the daily, the police found traces of DNA inside the store.
