Residents of the village of Salasc (Hérault) made an astonishing discovery on Saturday in their garden: under the branches, they discovered… a vulture. The raptor, visibly old and very tired, would have fallen, for an unknown reason, in their property, located very close to the lake of Salagou, in the north of the department.
The firefighters of Clermont-l’Hérault dispatched a specialized team to this garden to take charge of this large bird. He was finally entrusted to the League for the Protection of Birds, in Mèze, which took care of providing him with first aid.
