It’s a new year that’s off to a rather bad start for these local residents. In Toulouse, rue du Faidherbe, Minimes district, a fire broke out on Monday evening around 11 p.m., on the 4th floor of an eight-story building. This tragedy was relatively violent and required, in total, the intervention of 69 firefighters.
Nine people poisoned
As for local residents, 150 were directly impacted, and six of them, in addition to three members of the police, were poisoned by the fumes and transported to the nearest hospital center. Their days are not in danger.
The fire is currently under control by the Haute-Garonne fire brigade. Excavation and ventilation operations are continuing.
