Beijing may not like it. A few days after the end of China’s largest-ever military maneuvers around Taiwan, in response to Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the island, a delegation of US congressmen arrived on the island. This visit, which should last two days according to the American Institute in Taiwan, the de facto embassy of the United States, was not planned, indicates an American diplomatic source on the island.
