A two-wheeler driver dies after a serious accident with a car

Monday evening, around 8:30 p.m., a 42-year-old man died after a serious road accident in Grasse, in the Alpes-Maritimes. According to information from the departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis 06), the firefighters intervened after “a frontal impact with high kinetics between a vehicle and a two-wheeler”.

When help arrived, the driver of the two-wheeler was in cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite resuscitation attempts by the teams on site, he died. The driver of the vehicle, aged around fifty, is “unscathed”, according to Sdis 06, and did not “require transport to a hospital”.
