A 29-year-old man is in police custody this Wednesday in Toulouse after a series of violent behaviors. The alert was given Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. by two women shocked by the scene they had just witnessed in the courtyard of their building in the neighborhood Saint Aubin : their neighbor was beating a pregnant woman whom they allowed to escape by intervening. But the aggressor’s anger turned against them. He threatened them with death.
The pregnant woman not found
When the police patrol arrived, officials knocked on the suspect’s door. He greeted them with his hands behind his back. When he showed them, he was holding a knife. Immediately subdued, the man, already known to the police, was taken to the police station. The two neighbors filed a complaint, as did the three police officers.
But the molested young pregnant woman did not report herself and her links with the attacker are not yet known at this stage of the investigation.
