A Taiwanese company places an order with the Toulouse manufacturer

Airbus continues to dominate the aeronautics business. The Toulouse manufacturer announced this Tuesday morning that it had signed a contract with the Taiwanese company EVA Air. The order concerns 33 Airbus: 18 long-haul A350-1000s and 15 A321neos.

Airbus has not communicated the amount of the contract but at the list price, no longer updated since 2018 and never applied due to rebates granted to large customers, it would amount to some 8.5 billion dollars, according to a calculation by the AFP.

The year 2023 confirmed the French company’s position as world No. 1 in aeronautics, which also saw its stock market share rise by 2.5%. The manufacturer notably sold more than 100 planes in December.
