A straw hut blown away by an explosion just before its reopening

The two large explosions were followed by a fire. A hut was ravaged by flames during the night from Friday to Saturday in the town of Taglio-Isolaccio (Haute-Corse), around forty kilometers from Bastia, reports the newspaper Corsica Morning. Several gas cylinders were discovered at the scene of the disaster which occurred around 3:30 a.m.

An investigation was opened by the Bastia public prosecutor’s office for destruction by dangerous means and entrusted to the Haute-Corse research section and the research brigade of the Bastia gendarmerie company. According to the daily, the hut was supposed to open this weekend.
