We hope to witness a new part of the showdown between Jonas Vingegaard, unshakable yellow jersey, and his runner-up and double title holder Tadej Pogacar. The Slovenian was particularly offensive in the penultimate ascent yesterday, but could not take the Dane by default. The climb to Peyragudes is conducive to attacks and we are entitled to expect an explanation between leaders, unless Pogacar does not have the means to make up time at Vingegaard.
