This spectacular landslide took place at kilometer point 20 between Larnogol and Cajarcin the east of the department, not far from the very touristic site of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

Heavy rains have fallen on the Lot in the past two days, causing it to go into yellow vigilance for floods. They may explain this sudden weakening of the rock face.
