6:45 am: At least four dead in a Russian strike against a restaurant in Kramatorsk

At least four people have been killed and 47 injured in a Russian strike on a popular restaurant in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine. Among the victims is “a 17-year-old girl,” the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said on Telegram. “The impact caused a fire. There might be people under the rubble. The final number of victims remains to be clarified”.

The strike destroyed the Ria Pizza restaurant, an establishment in the center of the city popular with journalists and the military. According to the Ukrainian police, Russia fired two S-300 surface-to-air rockets on this city which had 150,000 inhabitants before the war, and which remains the only large agglomeration still under Ukrainian control in the east of the country.
