A restaurateur shot twice in the head, leaving his home

A 42-year-old man, not known to the police, was killed Thursday morning by two bullets to the head in Tourcoing, in the North, AFP learned from a source familiar with the matter. According to the first elements of the investigation, he was shot dead as he left his home. Two 9mm cases were found on the ground, the source said.

This man “without any particular background”, was a restaurateur, added the same source. His companion, present at the scene, was transported “in a state of shock”. An investigation was opened for “voluntary homicide” and entrusted to the judicial police of Lille.
