A prominent case
Heather Locklear
The actress repeatedly freaks out under the influence of alcohol. One day she gets involved with the wrong people
It is a drama in two acts that begins in February 2018 – with an emergency call from her house. Heather Locklear argues with her boyfriend Chris Heisser, a former motocross rider, when her brother comes to visit. He sees Locklear and Heisser attacking each other – so loudly, so aggressively that he calls 911. The brother reports a case of “domestic violence.”
Shortly afterwards, the police are in front of Locklear’s house, a bright villa under palm trees in Thousand Oaks, California. The cops discovered signs of struggle on Heisser’s face, as they later reported. They fail to calm Locklear down. On the contrary: When the police wanted to take her away, she hit a policewoman, kicked two of her colleagues and shouted that she would shoot them if the cops entered her house again. Locklear is arrested and taken to the Ventura County Jail, where her police photo is taken, in which she appears slightly disturbed.
Locklear is by no means sober that evening. She has a long history with alcohol, with medication; She has been to “rehab” several times, trying to get anxiety and depression under control. The woman who became famous as Sammy-Jo in the “Denver Clan” and later shone in the hit series “Melrose Place” always makes the headlines with misfires. Just like in February 2018: She is charged with assaulting the three police officers. Locklear is released on bail and checks into a rehab clinic. But what use is it?
Four months later – act two – there is another emergency call from her house, this time it is her mother who dials 911. When the police show up, the cops say Locklear is “extremely drunk” and “arguing with friends and family.” She attacks the police again and is arrested again. A little later she is taken to the hospital because of a suspected overdose. The following year, Heather Locklear was sentenced to 30 days in a psychiatric facility. After that she is clean.
