In Ile-de-France, Valérie Pécresse seems on track to keep her chair. The outgoing president of the Ile-de-France region would indeed come out largely in the lead of the first round of the June elections, with 33% of voting intentions, according to an Ifop-Fiducial poll for Sunday Newspaper.

In this survey, she is ahead of the National Rally candidate Jordan Bardella (16%) and that of the presidential majority Laurent Saint-Martin (15%). The three candidates on the left are given in the same low water: 11% for Julien Bayou (EELV), 10% for Audrey Pulvar (PS) and Clémentine Autain (LFI / PCF).

The current president, placed widely favorite in all polls, fills up the voters on the right but also grabs in the Macronist camp: a third of the people questioned who voted for Emmanuel Macron in 2017 would slip on June 20 a Pécresse bulletin in the urn. However, this poll does not test a second round configuration, for which the question of a regrouping on the left arises. The survey was carried out online from May 11 to 18. The margin of error is between 1 and 2.2.
