A musician finds his instruments stolen two months ago

He never thought he would see them again. On August 1, after a concert given on the Île aux Planches in Le Mans, the Lyon artist Tom Bird and his partner Alex Roman had the unpleasant surprise of having nearly 6,000 euros worth of instruments and equipment stolen, reports West France. Two months later, the two musicians have finally found their belongings. “Everything is there, keyboards and guitar pedals and everything works,” Tom Bird wrote on Facebook.

The perpetrator of the theft was identified on August 9 using surveillance cameras and then sentenced two days later to two months in prison. But he had never revealed the place where he had hidden the musical instruments. It was ultimately a woman, herself an artist, who discovered the treasure in the private parking lot of a building two weeks ago, the daily says. While doing some research on the Internet, the latter came across the publications of Tom Bird who recounted his misadventure on the networks and immediately contacted him. So the story ends well.
