A man was rushed to the Rouen University Hospital (Seine-Maritime) on the evening of Sunday, August 15. He was stabbed to the throat with a knife. According to the first elements, the victim, a 48-year-old Stéphanais, would have gone that evening to his sister’s home, located in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, reports 76 News.

It is his sister who would have asked him to come so that he tries to put an end to an argument between his couple on the background of alcohol. But using a knife, the woman’s companion would then have cut her neck, from ear to chin, about fifteen centimeters, tell our colleagues.

The victim’s vital prognosis was not engaged

When the police arrived, they found the injured Stéphanais but his vital prognosis was not engaged. He was then transported to the Rouen University Hospital.

The person responsible for the alleged stabbing was arrested by the anti-crime squad. He was then taken into police custody. Then, he was questioned by the police after being in a drunken cell.
