A man was shot and killed during a fight on the sidelines of a rap evening, which brought together around 1,000 people in Fleury-Mérogis, in Essonne, the Evry prosecutor’s office said this Saturday.
An investigation has been opened for intentional homicide and there are no arrests at this stage, added the prosecution, confirming information from the newspaper The Parisian. “We are trying to identify the perpetrator and the victim,” underlined the prosecution.
One dead and one injured by gunshot
During a fight, which broke out on the sidelines of a rap evening, a man pulled out a gun and fired, killing one person. Another person was more lightly injured according to The Parisian, which specifies that the two victims are aged around thirty. The events occurred outside a reception room in a commercial area in the south of Fleury-Mérogis.
The alert was given shortly before 6 a.m., and the investigation entrusted to the Paris Research Section, added the Evry public prosecutor’s office.
